A technological solution providing safety and warning against cyber-attacks is needed to avoid these threats.

Solution: The platform DeCYFIR works on four logical layers ‚Ai data collection, data analysis, data dissemination, and reporting. In the data collection stage, the platform knows where to look for collecting relevant data, which is critical for unlocking actionable insights.

Problem: Authorities managing restricted areas, public gatherings and other sensitive premises have a difficult task of checking identity of each person entering the venue to ensure that only authorized people enter the venue. Linking multiple identity proofs owned by every suspect to the record of barred criminals and mapping their identification documents to the database is a very tedious and time taking task today.

Solution: The company has developed an AI-based facial recognition solution that completely rules out the need for maintaining physical ID proofs or documents to verify an individual’s identification details.

Problem: Gun violence in American cities is a devastating epidemic. It has killed more than 65,000 individuals and injured several hundred thousand in just the last five years. A need was felt to introduce a technological solution that can detect the presence of a gun shot being fired and can accurately identify the details related to it._x000D_

Solution: When a gun is fired, the sound of a muzzle blast radiates outward, Acoustic sensors are triggered by the impulsive sound. The sound is classified as a gunshot using artificial intelligence and triangulation algorithm determines the precise location. The data is relayed to the ShotSpotter Incident Review Centre where analysts quickly audit the data and publish confirmed gunshots to police.

Problem: The goal of any society shouldn’t be to just to catch criminals but to prevent crimes from happening in the first place. Being able to anticipate crime locations and times could allow officers to pre-emptively deploy officers and help prevent these crimes.

Solution: The solution uses data from the concerned agency‚ records management system (RMS) to pull current and historical crime data that have been reported to police. This information is anonymized so that no personally identifiable information is collected or used. The anonymized data is then fed into the machine-learning algorithm to create predictions. The data is checked and updated constantly to make sure that it is accurate and complete.

Problem: As of 2016, Uttar Pradesh (UP) had the highest incidence of crime in the country with a crime rate of 128.7 per 100,000 people. The UP Police became concerned with the inability to solve criminal cases rapidly and efficiently with manual methods.

A need was felt by UP police to use technology to boost its efficiency.

Solution: Trinetra has a record of 5 lakh criminals which contains a picture, address and criminal history of each criminal. This information has been collected through the inputs from district police, prison department and Government Railway Police (GRP). These were digitized and the application enables search on records using AI that works well with low resolution images and videos.

Problem: Every year millions of people go missing. The old method of matching missing people and found people was based on features recorded in a database in descriptive form. This was a suboptimal solution.

Solution: To find a person, a user just needs to upload a photo of a missing person via various channels, including Baidu AI Xunren website, the Baidu AI Xunren Ministry of Civil Affairs‚ or Smart Mini Programme on the Baidu App website for missing people. The technology used is efficient enough to find people from old photos as well, so it can find people who went missing a long time ago, even if their appearances have changed significantly.

Problem: Personal safety has become a major concern in our society. Evidence shows that crime against children and women has been increasing. According to the National Crime Records Bureau, crimes against children in India have increased by more than 500% over the last 10 years._x000D_

Solution: The company has developed a cloud-based unified software platform which allows users to connect their IoT devices such as wearable devices, mobile phones, vehicles, and security cameras and notify users or any third party instantaneously via alerts on their phones or computer if any anomaly is detected.

Problem: Ever increasing trend of crime needs out of box solution. One of them is to explore predictive analytics, facial recognition, and other artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to help prevent crime in advance. Based on behavioural patterns, system will notify local police about potential offenders.
Solution: The company uses facial recognition and gait analysis technology to help the government use advanced AI to find and track individuals. The system will detect if there are any suspicious changes in their behaviour or unusual movements.
